Training and fundamental assessment for cyclists

The subjetc, taught by Prof.Carlos Sanchis Sanz (Spain), develops contents that are essential to be able to understand and apply the “Training Methods to improve Specific Cycling Skills ” for athletes who participate in different modalities of these disciplines. In this course, we will develop topics such as: Strength training to improve cycling performance, complementary and preventive training, and the effect of caffeine on strength. To develop this updated material and content, we also count on the presence of Dr. Juan José Gonzalez Badillo who will discuss the "Key Principles of Strength Training in Cycling". The course "Performance Assessment", by Prof. Facundo Ahumada (Argentina) and the kinesiologist Hugo Morales Flores (Chile) develops in detail topics such as performance assessment in the laboratory and the field, power profile, aerodynamic assessment and control of training load.
