Certificate in Strength training for endurance sports

This certificate states that the student has passed all the exams and a specific course. The following information is included: student's full name, name of the course and name of the certifying organization.

  • Unit 1 - Training basics of the strength

In this unit we will show you the reasons why well-programmed strength training will help us perform better in endurance tests.

  • Unit 2 - Biomechanical bases

The content of this unit will be oriented to explain how the kinetic and kinematic variables become important when it comes to understanding strength training.

  • Unit 3 - Physiological adaptations

These are the "transformations" that we are going to be looking to achieve with our training proposal, which will be responsible for improving performance.

  • Unit 4 - Variables of strength training

Undoubtedly, something that every coach must master are the correct combinations of the different variables that are presented to us when putting together a program, basing these on the adaptations that we are looking for.

  • Unit 5 - Strength training methods

Training methods are ways we have of organizing training variables. In this unit we will show those that the evidence has shown to be capable of improving sports performance.

  • Unit 6 - Programming models

Finally, we will address the different classifications of the exercises and how to order them logically in the different sessions of the microcycle to obtain a training program according to the goals and needs of the athlete.
